Attendance
Punctual and regular attendance is important for being successful in school and later on in the world of work. Parents are strongly urged not to schedule medical apportionments during the school day. Along with calling the school on the day their son/daughter is absent, parents are also asked to send a note with their child explaining absence, tardiness, or early dismissals.
Dismissals:
The only grounds for student dismissal are medical, funeral and/or extenuating family circumstances. Students who need to be dismissed because of illness must see the school doctor who will, if appropriate, contact parents for dismissal approval. In the event that a student has a medical appointment, parents must send a note to the Principal's office prior to the start of that school day.
